Finals Week, Finally!

This week is completely stressful so I'm blogging to release some of mine. 4 of my finals are over & I only have PreCalc and Child Development left!!!! I think I've done pretty good so far, but I'm still nervous because if I didn't do awesome on a couple it could wreck my grades. I know I got an A on my E-con final, which makes me extremely happy! I can't wait until this week is over because I'm definitely in need of a break, especially when presents are going to be involved. I already know what I'm getting because my brother blabbed some of it and I peeked in my mom's room to see the rest. I'm a horrible daughter, but I'll fake my surprise so she doesn't even have to know. Big News: Mara is getting married! I suppose I should be happy, but I don't really believe marriage is a good thing. I've had some pretty nasty examples of failed unions so I discourage the entire thing. It's just a form of legal slavery in my opinion. I can't wait until May because I'm ready to get out of high school! I don't know if I'm going to college or not, but if one more person advises that I go just because they think I should, I'm probably gonna snap. Just kidding. :) Well I guess that's all for now.

I'm Back

Oh my gosh! I was so stupid to want to come back to school. Completely idiotic! I totally hate the place. Wanna know what I just realized? Some students actually have to study and pay attention in class to get a good grade. I've never had to do that until this year and it's very difficult. That's what I get for signing up for Physics and Pre-Calc. I must be insane. I probably should have chosen a general career field that I want to go in to before choosing a billion different courses, like the two evil ones, Sociology, Child Development, and Law. In case you haven't noticed, I'm super indecisive. Moving along... I'm going to be 18 in less than a month. I wanted a tattoo for my present, but I don't know what to get and I'm terrified of needles. Instead, I'm just want a book or two, even though I recently got seven from Barnes and Noble. It's my second favorite store, after WalMart. I'm taking the SATs a week after my birthday. I'm most likely going to get the lowest score ever in the history of the test, not to be pessimistic or anything. :) I hope that May comes quickly. This chica is ready to get the heck out of dodge. Well, I suppose that's it for now. Later.

Summer Update!!!!

Man, I was so ready for summer to get here, but now that it is, I'm totally bored. I've seen and heard my family way too much, they are getting on my last nerve. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I'm gonna have to get some time away from them or I might just explode. It's been way too hot lately to do anything outside and that sucks when you have to entertain your new puppy. Ellie Isabella joined the fam last week. She's a blue heeler mix and way adorable, but she's annoying and wants constant attention. To be honest, I'm more of a cat person so Oskan Gage, my own cat, is definitely more my style. Harry Potter is getting ready to come out in theatres and I'm freaking stoked. I think my mom's taking me to see it opening night, but I'm not certain. Things come up and plans change constantly. Let's see, what else is there to tell? My sis, Mara, is moving to a new house with her boyfriend. It's amazing and when they're all moved in and settled, I'll probably be spending a huge amount of time over there. Well, in about a month, we'll be heading back to school and I'll be a SENIOR!!! How freakin' cool is that?! Only one year left before we all drift in different directions. I only wish that I knew what direction I'll be going in. It'd sure help a whole lot. I guess that's the most of it for now. Later.

Life at the Present!

Back at last! Well, prom was a blast even if the friends I went with didn't bust a single move. Post-prom was kinda boring until we started playing Egyptian Ratscrew then it was fun. I'm so excited school is almost over, except that finals are being thrown at us left and right. I mean, some are going to be awesome, but writing a 20-something page paper as a movie treatment definitely is not. I keep hoping that one morning I'll wake up, summer will be here, and I passed every final, but I guess I'll just have to wait. I love rain as much as the next crazy person without a car does, but all this downpour is starting to wear on me. I can't even go for a nice walk in the woods with my animals without falling on my butt and getting mud smeared all over me. Ugh. Well, that's all for now!

Finally Here!

Okay, only a couple more posts will include anything about PROM! I'm so tired because setting up for Prom took forever. It was fun parts of the time though. At the end of the night, everyone was getting a little testy and was ready to head on home. Well, hopefully everything today will go alright. I have to get my nails and hair done, but I don't have an appointment for my hair so hopefully the place I'm headed to later will have enough time to squeeze me in. Even though I might fall asleep halfway through the evening, I think that it will be plenty of fun. I'm really ready to dance my socks off. Some of my friends said that they are not going to dance at all, but I'm going to let them get away that. Why go to Prom, one of the most memorable nights in any one's high school career, and not bust some awesome moves? Well, I better go see what I'm going to do about everything today. Later!

Now and Later! (Not the Candy)

Okay, I know that I've talked about PROM forever, but it's almost here. I'm not really too excited about it anymore. Nobody in my family cares even a little bit about it, they have all already made other plans to do things. I should be so worked up about their lack of caring, but I'm pretty much used to it. Anyway, moving on. I'm ready for school to be let out. I am usually counting down the days left by now and yet this year I'm just way too lazy to be doing that. This summer is going to be very boring, like every other one in the history of my school career. I might be going to get my license during this one though, even if I never drive anywhere. I want to find a job, but I have to babysit some kid throughout the months off. I guess money is money, no matter how you get it. So that's pretty much it for the moment.

April!

'April showers bring May flowers and Mayflowers bring Pilgrims.' That's just a little saying from my family that I love to pass on to other people. April seems like it's going to be a fairly good month. First of all, today is my half-birthday. Whoo-hoo! It's really strange, but I always announce to my friends and family. I don't celebrate it, though that would be so awesome. Next, there's PROM!!! I'm already counting down the days. I still don't have my dress, thanks to my mother, but I did get earrings and a bracelet from my brother and his wife. I don't know how I'm getting my hair done or if I'm going to get my nails done, but I'll eventually get to those details. Oh man, I forgot Easter. I don't understand all the advertisement things that go along with Easter, (the whole bunny-laying-eggs-then-hiding-them, creepy) but I like to hang out with my family that day. We always have a fun time when we're all packed together in a small room. Oh another thing, if you want a kitten, I have four beautiful ones which you can pick from. I guess that's it for now.

Spring Break '09!

This Spring Break, like almost every single other one, has been pretty boring. I had to babysit everyday, so that wasn't much fun even though I received some money for my trouble. I haven't even gotten to read a whole book yet, but this weekend I'll probably get through a couple. I was supposed to go to the prom dress store, Magic Moments, to get my dress altered again, except that didn't happen because things just come up for my parents all the time. Other things: My cat, Goldie or Goldfat as I call her, had kittens. Thank goodness. We all thought she was just enormous, like a 50 pound cat no joke, so I was relieved to find her in the dog box with babies. They're so perfectly adorable. My sister is finally getting out there and that's a great thing. We, all three of us girls, hung out together and it was probably the best thing to happen all week. Well, I guess that's it for now.

Random Stuff!

I just decided to do a new post because it's been awhile. I'm so ready for Spring Break to come, but unfortunately almost every teacher I have is assigning huge reports and assignments due the week before we get out. It's sad. Then after the whole Spring Break greatness has worn off, it'll be time to start worrying about PROM!!! I already have the perfect dress, which still needs to be altered a tad, and the shoes to match it. I'm pretty excited about it, but it's too far away to deal with all the details just yet. Well, time to move along with the day. Later!

Yesterday Was Terrible!

Oh my goodness, I was so angry yesterday. I really wanted to go to the play and I was all set for it. I had set my alarm, got money from the folks, and rounded up all the stuff I was taking for the bus trip. Then at like 6:20 in the morning, my mom came in and asked if I was still going on the trip. I sprang out of bed and checked my clock. The stupid alarm did not go off and I was so mad I threw it across the room. I decided to stay home from school because I was upset and didn't feel well anyway. It was a very bad day.

Snowy Week of Bliss

Oh my gosh, I loved the days off. I know that most people hated it because there was too much ice and snow so they couldn't drive but since I do not like to drive, I was in a heaven of whiteness. My sister and I put layer after layer of clothes on to head outside. I ended up having seven pairs of pants, two shirts, a hoodie, and a coat over top of that. If you would have seen me, I would have looked like a blob of clothes. Since there was so much ice, I kept falling over and ended up falling face first in the snow. Of course, I just laughed at myself being the dork I was. We hung out and watched movies and ate pizza afterwards. So to sum it all up, I absolutely loved the snow days more than anybody else in the world could.
